Sir,
The exchanges of letters of 4 and 5 February 1981 between the European Economic Community and the Swiss Confederation regarding processed agricultural products require certain amendments to be made to Table II annexed to Protocol 2 of the Agreement between the Swiss Confederation and the European Economic Community signed on 22 July 1972.
These amendments, featured in the Annex hereto, have in fact already been agreed to by the exchanges of letters mentioned above and, therefore, their incorporation in Table II of Protocol 2 is only a formal matter.
I have the honour to confirm to you the agreement of my Government to these amendments. I should be grateful if you would confirm that the Community is in agreement with the above.
