Agreement

in the form of an Exchange of Letters between the European Community and the Kingdom of Norway concerning the provisional application of the Agreement on the participation of the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania in the European Economic Area and the provisional application of four related Agreements

A. Letter from the European Community

Sir,

With reference to the Agreement on the participation of the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania in the European Economic Area (EEA Enlargement Agreement) and four related agreements, I have the honour to inform you that the European Community is prepared to apply the EEA Enlargement Agreement and the following three related agreements:

- Agreement in the form of an Exchange of Letters between the European Community and the Kingdom of Norway concerning a Cooperation Programme for Economic Growth and Sustainable Development in Bulgaria;

- Agreement in the form of an Exchange of Letters between the European Community and the Kingdom of Norway concerning a Cooperation Programme for Economic Growth and Sustainable Development in Romania;

- Additional Protocol to the Agreement between the European Economic Community and the Kingdom of Norway consequent on the accession of the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania to the European Union.

on a provisional basis, from the first day of the first month for the first three agreements and from the first day of the second month for the last agreement following the date on which the last of the Exchanges of Letters on provisional application between the European Community and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway has been completed, provided that the Kingdom of Norway is disposed to do the same.

I should be obliged if you could confirm the Kingdom of Norway's agreement to such provisional application.

B. Letter from the Kingdom of Norway

Sir,

I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of and confirm the Kingdom of Norway's agreement with your letter of today's date, which reads as follows:

"With reference to the Agreement on the participation of the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania in the European Economic Area (EEA Enlargement Agreement) and four related agreements, I have the honour to inform you that the European Community is prepared to apply the EEA Enlargement Agreement and the following three related agreements:

- Agreement in the form of an Exchange of Letters between the European Community and the Kingdom of Norway concerning a Cooperation Programme for Economic Growth and Sustainable Development in Bulgaria;
